Apple: Τα αποτελέσματα χρήσης δείχνουν τρελή πορεία για iPhone και iPad!
Η Apple ανακοίνωσε πριν από λίγα λεπτά τα αποτελέσματα χρήσης για το 3ο οικονομικό τετράμηνο του 2010 το οποίο έληξε στις 26 Ιουνίου.
Αφήνοντας το οικονομικό κομμάτι στην άκρη, θα εστιάσουμε στην πορεία των iPhone, iPad και iPod Touch τα οποία δείχνουν να οδηγούν την Apple στην επιτυχία:
Κατανομή εσόδων:
- 28% προέρχονται από πωλήσεις Mac
- 34% από πωλήσεις iPhone (!!)
- 14% από το iPad
- 10% από το iPod
App store:
Περισσότερα από 225.000 apps. Από αυτά, περίπου 11.000 είναι αποκλειστικά για το iPad.
5 δισ. εφαρμογές έχουν κατεβάσει οι χρήστες μέχρι σήμερα από το App store (!)
iPhone:
- 8.4 εκατ. πωλήσεις (61% άνοδος σε σχέση με τις αντίστοιχες πωλήσεις του περασμένου έτους)
- 1.7 εκατ. πωλήσεις για το iPhone 4
- 144 πάροχοι σε 88 χώρες
iPad:
- 3.27 εκατ. πωλήσεις σε 10 χώρες
- Σχεδόν 30.000 συσκευές πωλούνται ανά ημέρα!
iPod Touch:
9.41 εκατ. πωλήσεις (8% πτώση σε σχέση με τις αντίστοιχες πωλήσεις του περασμένου έτους)

CUPERTINO, California—July 20, 2010—Apple® today announced financial results for its fiscal 2010 third quarter ended June 26, 2010.
The Company posted record revenue of $15.7 billion and net quarterly profit of $3.25 billion, or $3.51 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $9.73 billion and net quarterly profit of $1.83 billion, or $2.01 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 39.1 percent compared to 40.9 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 52 percent of the quarter’s revenue.
Apple sold 3.47 million Macs during the quarter, representing a new quarterly record and a 33 percent unit increase over the year-ago quarter. The Company sold 8.4 million iPhones in the quarter, representing 61 percent unit growth over the year-ago quarter. Apple sold 9.41 million iPods during the quarter, representing an eight percent unit decline from the year-ago quarter.
